Meagan’s Walk donates 100% of funds raised towards childhood brain tumour research. As a grassroots organization, Meagan’s Walk is primarily volunteer driven with operational funding utilized where it is needed most.
Brain tumours are the leading cause of cancer-related death in children. Every day, in North America, a classroom amount of children are diagnosed with cancer. Each and every day. They join the thousands already in treatment. Each day 10 families will lose their child due to lack of treatment options. Yet research into less toxic, better treatments for these young patients is grossly underfunded. Meagan’s Walk is one of the few organizations in Canada dedicated solely to paediatric brain tumour research.
The generosity of our sponsors is making a critical and direct impact on the ground-breaking research into the devastating illness of paediatric brain tumours. It is also improving the outlook and quality of life for young people and their families dealing with illness, and supporting the empowerment of healthy children to contribute to the Circle of Hope. Read about our Research Impact.
Together we can create a unique opportunity for brand awareness, employee engagement and for your organization to be part of the next breakthrough in paediatric brain tumour research. Download our Sponsorship Package to learn how.
