Cecilia Caporaletti

Involved since 2008

“After I took an early retirement, I wanted to continue being involved with charitable activities in my community. When I saw a volunteer opening, I decided to contact the office and my love for Meagan’s Walk began. The opportunities allow me to draw on the skills I developed at BMO to support MW as it pertains to all financial activities.

From the beginning I felt that this organization was the right fit for me, for many reasons: the mission, the people, the message of hope and compassion, and the ultimate beneficiary of all the hard work, who are the children.

Being part of Meagan's Walk for 10 years now has given me an appreciation for the simple things in life, which so many times we take for granted. Seeing what some children and their families have to go through is a lesson in courage. I am a true believer that with the contributions to research that Meagan's Walk has facilitated in the last 17 years, the cure and treatment of paediatric brain tumours will continue to progress. It is an honour for me to be part of the Meagan's Walk family.”
